Exporting from Lodi? It’s becoming more common as small to medium-sized wineries augment their domestic sales with exports.
Officials of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and Umpqua Bank were brought to Lodi on Nov. 19 by the Lodi Chamber of Commerce to talk about exporting with small- to medium-size wineries.
This is part two of a three-part video on that topic. In today’s video, Anthony Oriti, senior vice president and managing director for the International Banking Division of Umqua Bank, talks about one of the biggest issues facing small exporters – getting paid.
In Wednesday’s video, Umpqua Bank Senior Vice President Mark Brody talks about the issues and opportunities facing small vintners in California when it comes to selling their wine overseas.
