Don Cameron, a member of California’s State Board of Food and Agriculture and general manager of Terranova Ranch, has been named winner of the 2017 Agriculturalist of the Year Award, presented by the Fresno Chamber of Commerce.

“The Chamber is honored to recognize Don Cameron for over four decades of service to the ag industry,” says Nathan Ahle, president and CEO of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce.

“Having represented our community by testifying before Congress, serving as a board member and chairman of countless ag groups, and being a leader in ag technology in our area, Mr. Cameron is a more than worthy addition to the long list of accomplished Agriculturalists of the Year,” Mr. Ahle says.

The award is given annually to an individual who exemplifies leadership and integrity in the Central Valley’s agricultural business community.

Bee Sweet Citrus has been named the 2017 Baker Peterson Franklin Ag Business Award recipient.

This annual award is given to an agricultural organization whose achievements and impact have significantly contributed to the industry and the local community.

This year’s award recipients will be honored at the Fresno Chamber’s Ag Awards Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1 at the Clovis Veteran’s Memorial District building.
